Nassau Bahamas Day 5: The finishing touches

Sunday

Having done all my vocals and Henry finished his I wasn't sure what we were going to do on the Sunday, we worked so fast on the first three days. Terry had a lot of mixing to do so he told us to go chill out and come to the studios around 3. So we caught the bus downtown but it being a sunday instead of having techo reggae we had gospel music and cackling christians. Once we'd gotten off the bus we all ran to mcdonalds for our breakfast (we've been eating so unhealthily) and me and Audz ordered a 'big breakfast' which turned out not to be big at all and was pretty dissapointing. Then we wondered around the town for ages trying to find a shop that wasn't a crappy souvenir shop, so Gloria came across an antique store and bought a picture for us all to sign for Terry and Sherrie.

That done we decided we should go to the beach, but we ended up sneaking into a hotels big private beach and its pool. When I found the boys they had discovered this huge slide going into the pool where we spent ages going down it, races, chains (where you all hold onto eachothers feet), launching and one of Franklins stupid games 'soldiers of launch'. After chilling in the jacuzzi we decided to go in the sea when we came across a sign warning us that lion fish were in the waters and so we had a race to this rope during which we all got too scared that apart from Alex we all turned back without reaching it. I screamed because I thought I felt something on my leg and Franklin in a loving brotherly way seeing I was scared plunged me under the water where I felt sea weed brushing against my skin but at the time with my scared imagination up and running I thought it was tentacles.

We thought we should start to head back so we bought subway and got a taxi to the studios where Alex went over some bass parts and Henry some guitar parts. Then it was the sad goodbyes to Henry, it really made it sink in that we were leaving. I had a chat with Terry about where we can take our music after this. The boys took Henry to the airport because of course the girls had to all stay in a pack...

Franklin and Alex came to our hotel because Gloria tidied up the artists apartment and we all went for a swim in the pool where I did impressions of my mum getting into the pool. I don't know if it was because we were all together or if it was the last night but I started laughing about something and then Franklin started laughing at me and then Gloria and Audrey and we spent literally about half an hour or more all in fits of laughter, apart from Alex who kept saying things like 'I'M GUNNA KILL YOU!' which obviously made us laugh more. This morning my stomache muscles feel toned because I laughed so much last night. A happy end to a happy, amazing, once in a lifetime or as Terry likes to call it 'first in a lifetime' experience.
