It was one of the sickest live bands I've seen, they put on a show. Within the first minute of them coming on stage the lead singer was in a massive rubber hamster ball thing running over the crowd. The confetti and balloons sound cheesy but there's a time and place and trust me, this was it. 'Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots' was magical when the whole crowd sang it.
One thing I love about gigs is the different crowds you come across, when I saw Foals it was all top buttons and checked shirts, Horrors it was big hair and dark clothing, here as you can see from the picture people were dressed up! A group of people came as Pink Robots and painted loads of peoples faces in the crowd. They're not exactly 'cool' but trust me they're definately something along with their support band who was the Flaming Lips lead singers nephew, I was wondering what they're family Christmas's are like.
