Deptford Arms

As we get older (until we hit an age where we look back on younger years remembering the 'good times') weekends get better. Friendship groups expand, you start knowing about and getting into more events so generally things get more fun. When you hit year 10, that's the year everyone says you have to start working hard because it's actual GCSE's but it's also the year where people say you start going out properly and doing things that don't involve sitting on the Heath or Hilly or where ever it is for you with a bottle of the cheapest vodka you can get with change gathered from your parents wallets.

This Friday night my band Shiva had a gig at The Deptford Arms, a local-ish pub which sadly after that night is probably going to be closed down due to underage drinking and probably a worried parent calling the feds. It was the second Riff Raff event they did there and loads of people were meant to be coming and did. But because the Pub served alcahol, and the shop across the road most people were drunk including 4/5 members of Shiva. So after 'THE' (Henrys side project band with his best mate) and 'Bad Habits' we were all over the place. Franklins guitar amp failed, Henry ended up falling or maybe was pushed over the drum kit so it was all a massive flop.

But we had a goooood time and that's what gigging's about.
