How your room looks represents a time in your life, at the time you loved it but a few years down the line all you can see is curtains gone past their sell-by date and a collage of fashion cut outs that have gone out of fashion... so while parents are already broke, why not get them to empty their pockets further and re-decorate?
Well it's half term and I don't think I can bear my lilac walls and matching bedside table anymore. But I have to get a room that I will like from now till I move out (18), well it better be 18 unless I turn out to be one of those kids who never leaves home or a kid who's parent kicks her out at 16... maybe more likely, seeing as I'm dying to move out already(mostly so I can have tons of parties in my own place and not worry because I won't have enough money to make it nice anyway.)
Are bedrooms meant to represent who you are? Because if so that's like soul-searching in paint. And for now I'm unsure so what most teenagers do, I'll go with white, a blank canvas until I decide.
